Our Vision

A full life for individuals with Speech & Hearing Challenges

Our Mission 

To support individuals & families with speech and hearing challenges especially from mid and low socio-economic sections of our society, in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Samvaad has three legal entities. Samvaad Institute [est. 2005] provides speech and hearing professionals with quality training, three Private clinics in the city provide services to quality treatment at a cost. Samvaad Foundation, established in 2012 provides free and subsidised services to support children and adults with speech and hearing challenges from mid and low socio economic sections of society. Samvaad’s facilities work closely with each other. 

Samvaad has qualified professionals in speech and hearing and strong relations with government authorities. Samvaad is led by its Director Radhika Pooviah a renowned specialist, internationally experienced. She has vast professional, clinical and teaching experience.
 

Samvaad currently operates in North Bangalore, Karnataka, reaching a population of 15,000+ individuals.

The foundation is guided by a board of experienced professionals.  

Mr Jayaraman

Ex Director, Operations, SPI Software Technologies Pvt Ltd. Post retirement he has been working on several projects with Rotary and has done exemplary work in eye donations in India. 

Ms Silvie Clares

An architect by profession who has made India her home. Since 2008, she is actively involved with 20 plus charitable organizations in bangalore as a liaison & secretary for Overseas Women’s Organization in Bangalore. Founder of a health tech company focusing on holistic wellness, she enjoys endurance sports and is passionate about creating social impact in human development. 

Ms Rekha Mandal

Admin & Facilities Manager of Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. A very dynamic person who has a Masters in Social Science and dreams of building homes for the homeless.

Dr Partha Sarathi Kommineni 

A senior physiotherapist and head of department of the Ramaiah Neuro-rehabilitation Unit.
